The founders of PhillyTrips.com (Mark Zwick and Dennis Gaudenzi of YoungProfessionalEvents.com, UpcomingEvents.com, NYEPhilly.com [New Years Eve in Philadelphia], and SinglesEvents.com) felt that their vacations would be more fun if they could find more people to travel with. So Mark, after attending the 2003 Jazzfest in New Orleans approached Dennis about organizing a trip to the 2004 Jazzfest. PhillyTrips.com was born with its inaugural trip of more than 50 travelers to New Orleans in May of 2004 for Jazzfest. Since then, over 1,000 more people traveled with us on our trips. Our goal at PhillyTrips.com is to continue "bringing people together through travel". Sometimes, we need a good excuse to travel. Other times we do not always have a good group of friends to travel with or a few friends feel their vacation would be enhanced if they were part of a larger group.

Is PhillyTrips.com just for singles? WE GET THIS QUESTION ALL THE TIME! The answer is no, we are not a singles group only. BUT, we have alot of singles travel with us. Overall, we have singles, couples, groups, special occasions, birthdays, and married folks travel with us all the time. Everyone that travels with us has a great time meeting new people and forming new friendships - single or not. This is what we are all about - it is always fun to travel with a group of people.

All ages over 21 are welcome on any trip that we do. We try to give an age guideline for each trip we have, but this is by no means a limiting factor. Most trip travelers are in their late 20s to early 40s. We have people of all ages on all of our trips. If you have been itching to check out a specific destination that you now see of our site, by all means, BOOK YOUR SPOT! We would love to have you and you will feel comfortable - everyone always does.

PhillyTrips.com is very focused on YOU, our customer, and your travel experience. One of the most important aspects of our trips is that we make sure that everyone is involved and knows about the activities that we have planned on the trip. Group happy hours, a list of suggested places for the group to go at night, and also coordinating get-togethers at our destinations are all included in each of our trips. We do our best to provide you with direct access to the trip leaders in case you have any questions or want to know what's going on. Our activities are not required aspects of the trip - just suggestions to provide a more social atmosphere. You always can do what you would like, after all, it is YOUR VACATION!

Through our early trips, we have seen many new friendships blossom. Personally, we have both created some great, new friendships along the way. Others have made friends that they now hang out with on a regular basis or even get shorehouses together. We even had several marraiges. We hope to have you with us on a plane or bus heading somewhere soon...
