Before leaving, please make sure that you have your ID and have read this Trip Itinerary. It may change as we get closer to the trip. Please also make sure you dress for the weather - it is going to be pretty chilly. We suggest bringing a heavier jacket and light gloves. We are hoping as much as you are for no rain, but you should prepare for it to be safe!

8:15 AM:
Trip sign-in starts. You will get a copy of this itinerary and your trip t-shirt. Load and board the buses at the Walmart parking lot (1601 S Columbus Blvd - View Map). You can leave your car overnight, you just need to place the PhillyTrips.com flyer in your windshield so they know you are with us. We have approval to park in the back/right corner of the lot facing Walmart, near the end of the entrance road. Look for the bus and PhillyTrips.com banner.
9:00 AM:
Promptly depart for the trip! Water will be supplied on the bus ride. Buses leave at 9:00 SHARP - do not be late! We have a fun day lined up, but also have to stay on schedule to get to all the wineries on time.
9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Travel to Baltimore hitting wineries on the way! We will visit Dove Valley (we will pick grapes here!), Fiore Winery, Woodhall Winery (we will have lunch here at approximately 1:00 PM), and Basignani Winery. Food & drink is allowed on this bus, so feel free to bring something with you if you so choose. If you have a food allergy, please email us so we can make arrangements for your lunch.
5:00 PM: (approx)
Check In to the Hotel. We are staying at the Residence Inn by Marriott Baltimore located at 17 Light Street in Baltimore. The hotel is just minutes walking distance from Inner Harbor and The Powerplant area. You are on your own for dinner, there are a bunch of great places in the area. Ask around to people on the bus about dinner. Normally groups of people get together for dinner.
8:00 PM to ??:
We have worked out a night party in the Powerplant area (http://www.powerplantlive.com) of Baltimore Inner Harbor (just a few minutes from the hotel) at Luckie's Tavern. We will have drink specials set up there including $2.50 beers & mixed drinks from 8pm - 11pm. There will be NO COVER for us as well. Everyone is encouraged to attend and if you have friends that live in Baltimore, you can bring them too.
Sunday, October 18th, 2009
9:00 AM:
Wake up, shower, and pack. Champagne Breakfast/Brunch will be served from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. Please pack before coming down to eat. At 10:30 AM, you can go back up to your room, grab your bags, and checkout of your hotel room to make your way down to the bus.
11:00 AM:
Leave the hotel. You should be ON THE BUS at 11 AM. This means you need to be checked out of your hotel room and have had brunch by 10:30 AM!!
1:00 PM:
Arrive at the Autumn Wine Festival. Please see their website for more information on what you can bring to make your day most enjoyable for you. Blankets, etc can be brought. Again, the weather unfortunately looks like rain and chilly weather again, so make sure you have a heavy jacket and light gloves. http://www.autumnwinefestival.org
5:00 PM:
Leave the Wine Festival. Please be on the bus ready to go at 5 PM.
8:00 PM:
Arrive back at Walmart to pick up your cars and say goodbye to everyone.
