About This Trip:

Ever since we did our Napa & Sonoma Valley San Francisco trip in 2006, we have been getting numerous requests for a fun, shorter weekend trip to some local Baltimore area wineries.  Well, as always, we listened and put together a trip itinerary that simply cannot be beat. 

We start by leaving Philly on Saturday morning at 9am and visiting 4 different wineries as we make our way down to Baltimore.  You will have the chance to have a guided tour each winery, a tasting of their wines, and will be able to purchase your own bottles - of course!  Around 12pm, we have set up a lunch (included in the price) at one of the wineries.  A complete list of all wineries will be posted on this site soon.

After we have made our way to Baltimore, we will check in to the hotel around 5pm and you will be on your own to experience Baltimore's dining and nightlife.  We will set up a late-night (around 9pm) group happy hour at a local, fun Baltimore hot spot with drink specials allowing you to hang out with the group.

On Sunday morning, we have set up brunch for you at the hotel, complete with Champagne!  We will leave the hotel around 11AM to get to the Wine Festival when it opens at 1:00pm.  Do not forget to bring a blanket as you can relax in the fields and grass while sampling wines & food on a beautiful fall afternoon.

We will leave the festival around 5pm to be home for 8pm.

Pick-Up/Drop-Off Location:

Our buses will be picking up at WALMART on Delaware Ave in Philadelphia (1601 S Columbus Blvd - View Map).  You will be able to leave your car here overnight - their security has been notified and will watch the cars for us overnight.  You will be required to put a flyer in your windshield so they know your car is with PhillyTrips.com.
