Right up there with some of the best festivals around, Jazzfest is a ton of fun while getting the chance to experience some of the very best music around. Here are some of the details of this trip...
This Trip Includes:
- Roundtrip airfare to & from Philadelphia to New Orleans - 4 nights hotel on Bourbon St in the famed French Quarter (awesome outdoor courtyard & pool!) - Transfers to & from the hotel to the New Orleans airport - Special PhilyTrips.com Jazzfest T-Shirt - Group happy-hours each night with free drinsk at the hotel bar ... and more!
We picked flights that allow us to make the absolute best use of the best days we are there. The flights leave early on Thursday (click the "Flight Information" link to the right) and are DIRECT FLIGHTS. Want to book your own airfare? We have hotel-only packages - SAVE $300!
The trip is 4 days and 4 nights ON Bourbon St in the heart of the French Quarter (where all the famed bars and restaurants are). Let us repeat... YOU ARE ON BOURBON ST! Friday-Sunday, you will have the opportunity to go to the fairgrounds (just a short cab ride away) and hang out and listen to music with the group or on your own. Again, it is up to you. Each night you will be able to experience New Orleans Jazz clubs to plantation tours. We will be setting up group happy hours each night for everyone to meet eachother and recap the day. After, many will go to dinner and then to the bars. Most of the group meets up with eachother at night - but that is not a requirement! This year we will be making suggestions about the best things to do each night. From midnight Jazz-Bowling to kareoke to Pat O's, we will be telling you where the fun is at.
The waether this time of the year is mostly in the 70s & 80s. Last year we had 2 beautiful days where people lounged by the hotel pool and then headed over to the festival in 80+ degree weather!
The last or second-to-last day, we will set up a group dinner for those that want to join us. Last year we had most of our group ogether. This year, let's try to take over the restaurant ourselves!
We hope you decide to join us this year on this trip.
