Join us as we travel to Munich, Germany in 2007 to enjoy the most famous
festival in the world, Oktoberfest. This awesome value package
includes everything you need for this exciting journey! We include DIRECT
airfare from Philadelphia to Munich, 4 nights hotel in the heart of Munich, a
traditional German welcome dinner (and stein!), bilingual guide, 2 full days at
the festival including transportation and 1-day beer tent reservations w/ German
dinner in one of the 14 beer tents, exciting German castle day-trip, a free day
to enjoy additional sights of Munich, full breakfast daily, and a guided city
tour of Munich and local castles!

~ Upon arrival, meet your local guide and travel via private
bus to your 3-star hotel, the Ibis on Dachauer Strasse in Munich. Later,
enjoy a short, guided city tour of Munich’s highlights ending with a traditional
German welcome dinner complete with Bavarian music in the world-famous
Hofbrauhaus. Dinner included.
~ Each year Oktoberfest is attended by 6
million visitors who drink more than 5 million liters of beer. Our local
guide will join you to host an Oktoberfest “seminar” at the hotel. You’ll
receive a map with all the beer tents and be escorted by public tram (just one
stop) to the festival for a day of oompah bands, Bavarian treats, and non-stop
partying. This evening, you will experience Oktoberfest as the locals do,
with reserved seats in one of the beer tents. Each “tent” has its own
unique character – from the relatively intimate 3,400-seat Hippodrom to the
9,300-seat Schottenhamel. Dinner & Breakfast included.
~ Enjoy our specially
organized day trip with private bus and guide to visit two of Bavaria’s
most-photographed castles: Schloss Neuschwanstein (the inspiration for
Disneyland’s famous Cinderella castle) and crazy King Ludwig’s Linderhof.
Your lunch stop will be in Austria overlooking the spectacular Plansee
lake. Breakfast included.
~ Enjoy
an additional full day at Oktoberfest. It is the biggest party in Europe dating
back to 1810. This is a completely free day in Munich to shop, eat some
great German food, take an optional tour, explore the city, research the museums
or visit the local beer gardens. Breakfast included.

meet you at the hotel and transfer via private bus to the Munich airport for

cities - air can be arranged. A $500 per person deposit will hold your place. If
you do not need airfare, a $600 discount is shown in the no-airfare
package. Optional travel insurance is advised and can be signed up for on

$200 and have been added to prices shown on this site that include air from
Philadelphia. Final balance will reflect exact taxes for a credit or addition.

** Passports. EVERYONE is required to have a valid passport to go on this
trip. You need to fax us your passort with your deposit. If you do not
have a passport, PLEASE GET ONE NOW. They take up to 2 months to finalize. Your
local post office can assist you with a passport. FYI: At the beginning of 2007,
EVERYONE will be required to have a passort for travel out of the US - even to
Canada and Mexico.
