Join us as we head to the 133rd running of the Preakness Stakes on our 3rd Annual Preakness horse race trip to Baltimore brought to you by PhillyTrips.com.
Last year, a great time was had by all travelers on our Preakness trip - located just outside of Baltimore. This year, we have already reserved 2 buses and are expecting this to be yet again a successful trip.
Either trip is the perfect "get out of Philly" day. If you are alone or have a group of 25 people (or more), everyone has a blast. Over the past 3 years, over 350 people have come on this trip with us, all from the Philly/South Jersey area.
Have a group of people you normally do your own bus trip to Preakness with? Would you like us to do all the work booking buses, getting tickets, etc and you can go for free? We thought so. If you would like more information, please email us by clicking "Contact Us" at the top of this page.

This Trip Includes:
Round-trip deluxe motor coach bus, an infield ticket to Preakness (option exists to purchase you own as well), beer on the bus ride down, all tips & taxes, and a cool long-sleeve PhillyTrips.com Preakness T-Shirt. Check out the "Packages & Pricing" section to the right for more information or to book this trip.
Seating Options:
Due to popular request, we added the opportunity to purchase your own seating instead of using our infield seats - if you would prefer to enjoy the race from the grandstands instead - it is up to you! The Top of the Stretch (premium seats), Grandstand reserved (covered), or other higher-premium tickets can be purchased on your own via http://www.preakness.com/Ticket+Sales/. We have given this option since many asked us if they can sit in their own premium seats in prior years - this option gives you the flexibility to do so. An infield ticket is included with our other package.
About This Trip & The Preakness:
It all starts on Saturday when we leave to go to the Preakness Stakes in the morning. If you have never been to or even heard of this event, it is a VERY FUN DAY (www.Preakness.com). All day, we will hang out at the racetrack infield and see the races. Join the 98 Rock party with bands and games all day long. Relax in the sun, beverage in hand. A great pre-shore getaway for your shore house OR just a "Get out of Philly" day. This year, we will be securing a nice spot on the race fence where you are only a few feet from the horses and out of the big, crowded spaces. If you do not know, the infield has food, entertainment, drinks, big-screen TVs to watch the race, and a VERY EXCITING atmosphere.
After the Preakness race is over, you will board the buses and head on back to Philly. You can expect this to be around 6-7pm.
Coolers are welcome on this trip. This trip is BYOB, but we will be supplying some beer for the ride down. Be sure to bring your own for the Preakness infield festivities. Click Here for what you can and cannot bring into the Infield. This is important as they WILL take and throw out items from you that cannot be brought in. Just look on that page so this does not happen to you.
One of the best aspects of this and other PhillyTrips.com trips is that we create an atmosphere that keeps the group together so that you are sure to meet some great, new people on this trip (although you are always free to do what you'd like). This is a request that we get from each and every person we talk to.
Pick-Up/Drop-Off Location:
Our buses will be picking up at IKEA on Delaware Ave (Columbus Blvd). IKEA is located at 2206 South Columbus Blvd. [View Map] We have approval to park between IKEA and Linens and Things - look for our buses. Park back by the roadway between the two buildings.
